- His grandfather, Dr. B.L. Awasthi, was a respected Ayurvedic doctor and Vedic astrologer who pioneered an integrative approach to health and cosmic healing.
- His great-grandfathers, Shri Durgaprasad Awasthi and Shri Bholanath Awasthi, were freedom supporters and social leaders, known for their generosity and service during India’s independence movement.
- His great-great-grandfather, Shri Kanhaiyalal Awasthi, was a Vastu architect and temple designer, known for his research on Panchakosha energy fields and sacred structures.
At the root of this lineage is Acharya Shri Krishna Awasthi, a renowned philosopher and spiritual teacher whose influence continues through Acharya Alok’s teachings today.
From Technology to Vedic Science
Although deeply spiritual from childhood, Acharya Alok chose a modern academic path to keep pace with the world. He completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Applications and began his career as a web and Android developer.
But his soul called him elsewhere.
In the final year of his tech career, he fully dedicated himself to Vedic research and spiritual practice. He pursued Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology to integrate modern mental health with ancient wisdom — a combination that now defines his transformative work.
